This rare yarn comes from seaweed-eating North Ronaldsay sheep on the Isle of Auskerry in Orkney. “Peat” is a rich, earthy dark brown that reads deeper in person than it appears in photos. Lightly rustic, with a crisp hand and gentle heathering, it is a sturdy workhorse for outerwear that can be relied upon for years to come.
